On the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal of every Islamic year a grateful and glorified memory shines over the whole world and is commemorated by the entire Muslim world. Every faithful Muslim participates in celebrating such an honorable memory to praise Almighty Allah for the blessing and endowment of Beloved Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).
On 16th February 2011 (12th Rabi ul Awal 1432 AH), a great Mehfil-e-Mawlid (in the commemoration of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) birth) was held in Aga’s Marriage Lawns Lahore Pakistan (situated at G.T. Road Lahore 10 minutes walking distance from the house of His Holiness Haji Ghulam Haider) under the presidency of His Holiness Haji Ghulam Haider Qadri (also known as Sarkar Haji Sahib and Sarkar G). Syyed Ghulzaar Shah Sb and Peer Tariq Mehmood Qalandar Soharwardi also graced this occasion. Ignoring the coolness of winter season, hundreds of men, women and children participated in this program to show their love with Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Saqib Gohar Qadri (a well known anchorman) was the stage secretary in this program and he performed a tremendous performance in this spiritual ceremony.
At 09:00 pm (PST), Qari Amjad Ali Bilali started the program with the recitation of Holy Quran and afterwards recited Naats in the honor of Beloved Prophet (Pease Be Upon Him) with his companions in his unique style using duff. His holiness Haji Ghulam Haider Qadri and all the crowed enjoyed very much during the performance of Amjad Bilali Brothers.
Minhaj Naat Council (Zaheer Bilali Brothers), Shehzad Hanif Madni, Hafiz Waseem Qadri (Minhaj Naat Council Shadbagh), Sheikh Zeeshan Qadri, Irfan Qadri, Adnan Qadri and others also paid tribute to Beloved Holy Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) in this spiritual gathering. At the end Durood o Salam was offered in the court of Sarwar-e-Kainaat (Peace Be upon Him). The program concluded by the special tears-laden prayer of Sarkar Haji Sb at 1:00 am (PST). He prayed for the special blessings on every individual and for prosperity of Islam and Pakistan. His Holiness Haji Ghulam Haider also prayed for the true love of Beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H). Hundreds of people also joined this program all over the world through the internet which was live broadcasted by Mohsin Ali Khushnood (A senior article writer in HaiTechnologies and humble follower of His Holiness Haji Ghulam Haider Qadri).
After ending the spiritual gathering, special food (lunger) was distributed among the people. Muhammad Ghulam Qadir aka Bao Qadir (elder brother of Sarkar Haji Ghulam Haider Sb), Muhammad Ehsan Qadir (nephew of Sarkar Haji Sb), Sajjad Haider Qadri (elder son of Sarkar Haji Sb), Omar Sajjad Haider Qadri (Grandson of Sarkar G) and the other family members of Sarkar Haji Sb were the organizers of this marvelous mehfil-e-meelad which is held every year to commemorate the memories of Beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H) on 12th Rabi ul Awal under the supremacy of Haji Ghulam Haider sb.
*Saqib Gohar Qadri is dearly loved follower (mureed) of Sarkar G and also a great poet. He has written many Naats, and Kalams in the praise of the Most Beloved Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Saqib Qadri is special anchorman, and he is always invited in every Mehfil e Meelad held under the presidency of Sarkar G.
